Nyakasojo Water Supply Project

KARCD successfully implemented a water supply project in Nyakasojo village with support from the One Percent Fund Vienna. The project aimed to improve access to safe and reliable water for the two communities. Key activities completed included the installation of three water taps, establishment of a water committee, and community sensitization on water management. The project has improved water access, strengthened local ownership, and promoted sustainable management of the water points.

Access to clean and reliable water remains a critical need in many rural communities. Prior to this intervention, residents of Nyakasojo village faced challenges in accessing water conveniently and sustainably. In response to this need, KARCD implemented this project to support the communities with improved water infrastructure and management structures.
